This biography of the influential 19th century woman, Mary Baker Eddy, was originally published in 1985. After continued research, the authors approached us to publish a new edition of the original book. This new amplified edition added 35% more content. I was thrilled to take on the challenge to improve this new book.

 

Our goal was to create a book that, above all, presented an ideal format for customers to read this historical story. This overall goal governed the decisions about typeface style, size, leading, and paper selection. I took into account customer feedback from previous books as well as how easy it was for a reader to use this title—both as a general read and also fro a more detailed, scholarly point of view.

The book's popularity warranted a new edition to be translation into German.

This title design received first place, professional non-illustrated category in the 53rd Annual New England Book Show.
