Working on a cross-functional team, I created a new landing page to provide information about CSM’s new mobile daily product, The Christian Science Monitor’s Daily Edition.

Daily news at your fingertips

Since its founding in 1908, The Christian Science Monitor has maintained its daily publication with a target audience of the general public. The Monitor assumes its readers are people who care, who want to care, regardless of their religious or political mindset. With this in mind, we set out to create a versatile mobile tool for people to get in-depth news stories 
on-the-go.

CSM News Daily Edition

​The layout was formatted primarily for mobile devices, then optimized for larger displays since analytics showed that over 75% of users read the daily edition on a mobile device.

​

Staying within the established branding elements and design system, we aligned the message to engage readers. The much anticipated launch of this product provided a reliable subscription-based channel to provide analysis of the daily news, while still supporting the weekly print product. Our goal was to spark the interest for new subscribers and define the details of this new product. New subscribers have increased steadily since launch, with a low churn rate.
